17122005 & 181205

17122005 is my mummy's birthday!! =)

she spent the morning helping out at an orphanage wif my dad. sis & i were supposed to go along to help but bcos we slept at 5am, dad decided to take pity on us and let us slp instead of waking us to go with dem. sis & i awoke ard 10+..

i called nic yap & pris to make arrangements to meet up.
pris and i wanted to catch pride & prejudice but nic pleaded wif us to catch king kong instead..
i felt dat show was jus mediocre. nthg grt. it was long tho.
caught the 2.10pm show and it ended at 5+.. i was quite bored during the 1st half of the show. pris was perhaps tryin to keep herself awake by eating sweets.. hurhur..
gonna be catching pride & prejudice wif beckie dis wed! aint gonna change dat dis time! :P

so i went to pick pris frm her place den headed to orchard to meet nic yap. watched the show at lido. after the show, we walked over to starbucks at Liat towers to hav coffee while waiting for another fren to go hav dinner.

after coffee, nic yap gave pris a lift and sent her home. he went for dinner wif his parents. when my fren arrived, we walked down orchard to hmv to draw money den to emerald food court to have koo kee yong tau foo.. wow.. yummy. sis & dennis joined us for dinner too.

after dinner, we walked down in search for a starbucks dat used to be at orchard pt. den we realised, orchard pt has become OG.. alamak. so we had to walk back. went to dat al fresco place in front of rouge to hav some drinks while waiting for my sis's frens to arrive & nic yap too.

when nic yap arrived, my other fren left .. nic & i drove down to raffles place - 7-11 to get drinks - den walked towards the s'pore river to sit and chit chat. left raffles place ard 12 - sent nic hm den i headed hm. was totally worn out.

the next morn, sis & i attended 12.30pm mass at Holy Trin.
my gdness. it's alr the 4th week of advent. how fast time flies esp when ure enjoying urself.....
after mass sis dropped my off opposite tm so dat i cud go meet fie at tamp mrt. fie & i headed to bugis for lunch. we had chicken chop!!!
yum! my favourite western food dish. hurhur..

after lunch, we walked to bugis junction, used the toilet den crossed the rd to bugis village. i noe i'm a mountain tortise but really din realise dat dat place has got alot of nice stuff! and pretty cheap too! i've to go back dere agn.. i only walked a quater of the whole place.. din get to c much cos fie's tummy was hurting.. had to answer the call of nature. more impt.. so we walked back to bugis junction, used e toilet agn and went to watsons to buy water.

after hanging ard for a while more, fie walked me to the bus stop to wait for the bus to get to temasek boulevard. had to meet my sis n parents for dinner at marina sq.
we had dinner at dis restaurant called 'Simply Peranakan'
the food was superb! :) had a grt meal.
had the usual ayam buah keluak, nonya chap chye, sambal fried fish slice, belachan, beef rendang, chendol etc.. really yummy stuff.

if u guys hav the chance and ure cravin for peranakan food, go try dere.
after such a fulfilling dinner, we walked back to marina sq, sis parked dere but daddy's car was at suntec so parents left 1st. sis & i continued to walk ard for a bit more b4 leaving for hm.
